Refund policy

Returns & Exchanges

 

As a small, print-on-demand business, each journal is custom-made just for you. Due to this unique process, we do not accept returns or exchanges for buyer's remorse, incorrect orders (e.g., wrong color or size chosen), or changes of mind.

We will only provide a return or an exchange if your journal arrives with damage, a print defect (this does not include misspelled words, grammatical errors, or content issues not related to the print quality), or is an incorrect journal. If this is the case, please reach out to us and we'll be happy to assist you.

 

To report a defect: Instead of shipping the journal or package back to us, please send us an email at wordsunspokenco@gmail.com, including:

  • Clear pictures of the defective journal you received
  • Pictures of the original packaging, including the mailing labels. We require pictures of the mailing labels to file a claim with our shipping partner should there be damage to the packaging.
  • Evidence of the delivery date and time (e.g., screenshot of tracking information showing delivery timestamp).

You must notify us at wordsunspokenco@gmail.com within 7 days of your order's delivery date.


 

Refunds

 

Please note: For eligible defects as outlined above, we typically process a replacement order at no additional cost to you. If a replacement is not possible or desired, a refund may be issued.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable
  • We do not require you to return defective items to us. Therefore, you will not incur shipping costs for returning an item for a refund related to a defect.
  • Our policy for reporting defects lasts 7 days from your order's shipment date. If those 7 days have gone by, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a replacement or refund.

 

Defect Refund Process: Once your defect claim (with pictures) is received and approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a few business days.

 

Late or Missing Refunds (for approved defect refunds): If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then, contact your credit card company, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at wordsunspokenco@gmail.com.


 

Sale Items

 

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.
